Pecchioli Ceramica began in 1900 when Galileo Chini opened his factory fornace. After World War II, Franco Pecchioli purchased the factory from the Chini family and to this day there are several family members who still work there. Their tile is known throughout Italy as having the most innovative glazes and colors available. They can customize tiles in any size, color, or shape. In addition, they can apply the same glazes to toilets, vessel sinks, shower bases, and full slabs as seen for the first time in the U.S. at Coverings 2007 in Chicago.

From its transparent colored glazes to its borgo di colori (village colors), it is totally unique. Vietri, Italy is known worldwide for its terra cotta. Since the Eleventh Century, the process of producing terra cotta antica has been perfected and the tradition continues at Cottovietri. They produce a myriad of stunning hand-painted and hand-made tiles, as seen for the first time in the U.S. at Coverings 2007 in Chicago.
